We are establishing local branches to:

●   Support the purposes of the Foundation for a Reasonable Global Way; and

●   Provide a way for our supporters to join and participate in a community.

REASONABLE WAY - MELBOURNE

This is the first branch to be set up.

Other branches will be listed here when they are established.

The purposes of the Branches are to help and support the Foundation in these tasks:

a)    To articulate reasonable global beliefs and provide justifications for them;

b)    To structure these propositions in a hierarchical fashion;

c)     To clarify the implications of these beliefs on the choices we make that guide our behaviour,

d)    To promote wide debate on the validity of the selection and content of these propositions,

e)    To provide a reference point for those interested in these issues,

f)      To promote knowledge of these reasonable global beliefs and values to the wider community,

g)    Assist the Foundation to provide instruction in this Way.

We hope that local branches will be able to:

●      help people understand what we mean by Global Beliefs and Values and a Reasonable Global Way;

●      seek members who support the purposes of the Foundation;

●      provide opportunities for fellowship to members and the public;

●      conduct meetings and services, in accordance with this Way, to observe and celebrate major life and community events;

●      provide appropriately qualified pastoral care to members who follow this Reasonable Global Way;

●      support members to find a reasonable understanding of the meaning of spiritual or mystical experiences;

●      provide informal independent oversight of the Foundation;

●      find volunteers to help with the Branch and Foundation;

●      to raise funds and solicit gifts, donations and bequests for the Foundation.

The Foundation will provide whatever help it can to the Branches, in consultation with the Branch Committee.

The Branches will report back to the Foundation on its activities, as well as assist with and monitor the Foundation’s work.
